Hard Stops

In the context of the UK Building Safety Act (BSA), a "hard stop" refers to a regulatory measure that halts or prohibits certain activities or processes until specific conditions are met or resolved. Hard stops are implemented to ensure that building safety standards are upheld and that risks to occupants and the public are effectively managed.
